This is Twin Root. Check their Soundcloud and Facebook pages and be sure to give them a share. To get an idea of who Twin Root is, read on.
Twin Root hails from Westside Belgium and consists of Bredda X and Di Regulator, two Belgians with Jamaican roots.
Since early 2000, bredda X has a long history in promoting Reggae/Dancehall in Belgium as a skilled DJ. In 2004 he started a soundsystem called Samurai Movement with a friend but due to different goals he continued solo after a couple of years of awesome performances in many different cities. The preferred music style varied but was heavily rooted in Dancehall/Reggae.
A few years later bredda X ran into his childhood friend; Regulator who he hadn’t seen for many years, whom in that time also developed a big love for Reggae/Dancehall but wasn’t DJ’ing yet. Whenever there was a link up they would get each other hyped on the vibes and Bredda X saw that Regulator took up skills very easily. They combined and shared knowledge and managed to motivate themselves and took things to that next level.
After seeing the results that came out of this shared passion, in 2014 they decided to team up. Bredda X gave up the controls passing his knowledge to Regulator and he instead took up the mic. By respecting the technical side without loosing creativity they can easily excite any party.
Twin Root has a deep love for all Caribbean. Reggae, Dancehall and Soca set their foundation but are very capable to take you outside the box into other hot music styles. Once it bounces, they'll play it!
