WHEN AND WHERE WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU TOOK PART IN CARNIVAL?
My first carnival experience was actually as a young child during Kiddies Carnival with the group Lilliput Theatre in Trinidad and Tobago where I am from. I played Mas every year as the costumes used were also part of the dance and drama school's annual production in May. Once I became a teenager, my mom allowed me to play J'ouvert with 3 Canal. To this day, if I am in Trinidad for Carnival, J'ouvert morning still finds me playing Mas with them. My first time playing "big people pretty Mas" was in 2002 also in Trinidad.
WHICH BAND DID YOU PLAY WITH?
"Big people pretty Mas" was with Harts.
DESCRIBE YOUR COSTUME IF YOU CAN REMEMBER?
All I can remember is that it was a Red, Backline Costume.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE TUNE THAT CARNIVAL?
